things i learned...

today i realized that i learned something very useful from my parents: how to take a warm bath when there isn't any warm water. i was babysitting tonight, and apparently something is wrong with the moore's water heater. so- i turn the water on to fill up the tub for the girls to take their bath, and the water is this kinda watered down tea color. and the water is freezing cold no matter how far i turned the hott knob. so- i told the girls to just hang ight, and at least get their hair wet while the water we luke warm. so- i went to the kitchen and looked for a big pot, and the biggest thing i could find- was probably the size of 2 chicken pot pies. not very big. so- i put some warm in it, and put it on the stove- once it got to less than freezing, i took it to the girls and told them to wash their hair- they laughed at me... but no no... i am amazing. i warmed up enough water for them both to wash and rinse their hair, and wash and rinse them selves. thanks mom and dad and the ice storm of 97(or when ever the crap it was).

then- i called security and my favorite security worker (andy mcdonald) came and picked me up from work to drive me to the dorm.... we got to the dorm door, and i realized andy has to ride around talking to himself all night... so, he asked if i wanted to tag-along... well... of course i did. so, we drove around in circles all over campus chattin it up. it was good fun.

there had been something bugging me earlier in the week- but, it's amazing how you feel something bothering you, and you realize you're not the only one it bothered. i feel a lot better. thanks.

bible test tomorrow. yeehaw.
