what a tuesday!

1. i learned how to weld today. it was... fun. and hard.
2. i got the part i wanted in little shop of horrors!
so excited.

reflections of yesterday

the rugby game was violent. as i'm sure most of them are. full body contact sport with no padding can never turn out good. it was an interesting game to say the least. our friends played well but did not win. poor things.
the homecoming football game was wonderful. we played the wonderboys. yea. that's their name. it was a fun filled game, that ended with a score of 61-55, in our favor. thank goodness.
tennessee also won yesterday, like it was any competition. 59-7.
the play was good, i sat with spencer and his family, who got me about 10 rows closer than i originally was. i ended up selling my tickets to a couple who were standing in line at the ticket counter, wondering where they would be sitting. i told them the upper balcony, row z. that's the back. so, i got them on the floor- near the back- row jj. i got to sit in row y. it was nice.

didn't end up catching a nap at all, but i did get to hang out with some wonderful friends who came up for the weekend.
i have a concert today- leaving at 3 to head to jonesboro.

i'm reading a book about a senator with ED... it's very silly. the cover says it's a must read for the "viagra age" haha- i'm reading it anyway.

a schedule that should make for an interesting day

at 11 this morning, april and i are going to the rugby game.
following that, the football game at 2.
then, of course the tennessee game.
followed by the musical tonight.

maybe i'll be able to fit a nap in there somewhere.

cassie leight ponder hill

this is one of my best friends from high school- cassie ponder hill. nash and i went home for her wedding last weekend, and it was beautiful. this picture is very typical cassie- standing in the creek, barefoot, in her wedding dress... only cassie.



thought this was a good picture of me and nash. he's such a sweetheart.

good weekend at the shoot- lots of good sleep, and good food.
had good times with the fam, and with the friends there on the hill.

in the car... in the car... where i smoked my first cigar... oh wait, wrong song. tinkle, tinkle, in the car... no, still not right.
i gotta say, that was a long drive. but with the help of my ipod, very large sunglasses, and some very interesting road signs we made it through.

dallas

had so much fun in dallas!
it was a good long drive, but with my prilly-poo at the wheel, it wasn't that bad.
we ate dinner friday night, went shopping on saturday, and church on sunday.
i know i said i would post more... but, there's a game today, and i'm antsy.

headed west

april and i are headed to dallas tomorrow. not sure about what time we're leaving. but i know it won't be three in the afternoon.

this is the ugliest shirt i own.

after spending too much time wondering what to wear yesterday, i saw this- and knew it was ripe for the picking.
it was fool proof. the perfect shirt for a friday.
i don't know how it got in my closet. goodwill? thirft shop? mom? no clue. i guess it grew legs and came to me. but- i decided it was a good day to make "wear the ugliest shirt you own day."
i wore the ugliest shirt i own yesterday- and got a few compliments. i was amazed. it brightened my day.
